The first math subject we started on this year was using a coordinate grid.Things we would do on this would be moving shapes to a certain place using coordinates like 'move 3 units up and 5 units left.'We also flipped shapes over a certain axis, whether it was the X or Y. This subject was really cool because we got to figured how a shape got to a certain area when there is multiple ways to get there. This subject was really fun and now we're going into fractions.
